Disclosure cases: anonymous internet users identified by court order
These are disclosure cases in which Cohen Davis obtained court orders requiring platforms, websites and service providers to hand over information identifying anonymous users. The orders, known as Norwich Pharmacal orders, were the first step in claims for defamation, harassment and breach of privacy, because a claim cannot be brought against someone who cannot be named.
