Deasharne Bell

Meet Deasharne

Deasharne Bell joined Cohen Davis Solicitors in September 2021 following the completion of her A-levels. She was attracted to Cohen Davis Solicitors due to its focus on social media and internet law, a dynamic and expanding field.

Currently, Deasharne is pursuing her qualifications as a solicitor at BPP University alongside working and is set to qualify in 2027. She assists the legal team in all areas of internet and social media law. She particularly enjoys communicating with clients and managing applications and correspondence relating to defamation, privacy rights and the right to erasure under GDPR, including submissions to major online platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, and X. She also supports the legal team in relation to pre-action and litigation matters.

Deasharne takes great pride in her work, finding immense satisfaction in understanding the nuances of each case and assisting her clients in achieving their goals. Deasharne has worked with the team on several notable cases, including Hasan-Ali v Meta Platforms Ireland KB-2022-005012 and Paisley v Linehan QB-2021-004541.

Outside of work, Deasharne is involved in her local community. She has contributed through her roles as a former Young Leader in a Girl Guiding Unit and volunteered at St. Christopher's charity shop, demonstrating her dedication to community service and leadership.
