Paul Greenberg is a senior solicitor at Cohen Davis Solicitors, having joined the firm in January 2019. Paul qualified as a solicitor in October 1999 and spent two decades specialising in criminal defence before transitioning to Cohen Davis to diversify his expertise and venture into social media and internet law. Drawn to the firm’s pioneering work, Paul recognised the potential to positively impact the lives of many who are being made the subject of online reputational harm.

Notable cases

• Dudley v Phillips [2022] EWHC 930 (QB): Paul successfully represented the Claimant in a defamation and data protection claim, obtaining an injunction and damages. This is one of the first reported cases where a UK Court directly ordered a USA review site to take down defamatory content.
• GJE & FJV v SLE [2022] EWHC 1592 (QB): Achieved a permanent injunction against the Defendant who was orchestrating an oppressive campaign of harassment against the Claimants who had an affair with each other.
• DRP v Persons Unknown [2023] KB-2023-002302 : Successfully ended a campaign of blackmail, harassment, and misuse of private information orchestrated by unknown person(s) by obtaining an injunction in the High Court of England and Wales.
• ProCare Shower & Bathroom Centre Limited v Regal Care Shower Trays Limited and others QB-2022-000925: Achieved a significant victory for the Claimant by settling a claim for malicious falsehood by obtaining an order from the High Court of England and Wales for payment of significant damages and legal costs.
