The firm is expanding fast and investing in our legal apprentices is one of the ways by which we secure the firm’s growth as we offer long term prospects upon qualification as a solicitor. Apprentices must be able to travel to our Essex offices.
Your responsibilities would include: working with and supporting the lawyers in the firm, handling clients' calls and initial enquiries, attending court cases, attending meetings, drafting documents, and helping progress real cases in real time.
Unfortunately, public transport to and from our office is lacking so apprentices must live a suitable distance from the office, which would allow them to travel by car to the office each day. You might choose to relocate so you may apply even if you currently live some distance from our office.

Minimum qualifications required
A qualifying law degree with a minimum 2.1, or a non-law degree minimum 2.1 and a GDL, PGDL, CPE or equivalent qualifications.
Skills and personal qualities
Excellent communication skills, excellent command of the English language and proficiency in MS Word. An ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others is of paramount importance.

Future prospects
Upon qualification as an internet lawyer, you will possess unique knowledge in an area of law of high demand. We aim to offer all our legal apprentices a position with the firm upon qualification.
Training provided
As a Solicitor apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Solicitor Level 7 Apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be awarded with the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Your Level 7 apprenticeship shall be delivered by a blend of online and face-to-face from BPP [alongside our award-winning internal training]. Coupled with on-the-job learning, completion of the apprenticeship will lead to obtaining your solicitor qualification.
In addition, we offer internal training and ongoing support for all our apprentices. The training includes one on one support by a dedicated solicitor, group training and video and online resources. The supervision is tight and ongoing as we want you to become the very best solicitor you would ever be.
